The second book in her Hedon Falls series, The Art of Love (also a ménage) will be out on February 21. Michelle lives in Ontario, Canada, but you can often find her online on her blog, Twitter, Facebook, or Goodreads. Visit her author page at Bookstrand for news on Michelle’s latest releases.

When single mom Serena Keegan finally gives in to her son's pleas for a pet, they decide that fish are the perfect option for their apartment lifestyle. They quickly discover that they have a lot to learn about their aquatic friends. Thankfully, Dalton's Aquariums and More! is there to help. The owners, identical twins Lance and Liam Dalton, both find themselves attracted to her. They are eager to provide her with the assistance she needs, for the pets and for more…personal matters.

Serena’s past experience with men has been less than stellar, and she worries she and her son will end up hurt. Despite these fears, she finds herself falling for the sexy store owners, whose talents extend well beyond business. But Liam has a past he hasn't told her about, and when Serena finds out, it threatens their growing love.

Note: There is no sexual relationship or touching for titillation between or among siblings.

Melanie Hynes owns the brand new art gallery in Hedon Falls. When she decides to make erotic art the theme of her opening exhibition, she goes in search of artwork.

Justin Gauthier creates a unique blend of painting and photography. Melanie finds his youth and vigor intoxicating. David Hannah can sculpt provocative pieces from ordinary materials. And Melanie discovers that he is very good with his hands. Garrett Anderson’s paintings of BDSM are shocking and arousing. When Melanie asks about the lifestyle, he teaches her.

Three men, each with their own distinct talents, and she falls hard and fast for all of them.

When David finds out she is seeing other men, he is hurt and angry. Confused by her attraction to three men, she doesn’t know who to choose. Justin and Garrett show her the joys of sharing and she thinks that may be the key to her dilemma. Can she convince David to consider a ménage?

Interview and Review of Irv's Odyssey: Lost in a Looking Glass by Irving H. Podolsky

Hello CEWTNK!  I am all about trying new books and this one was definitely a new read for me!!  It truly doesn't have a genre, and well I love to give all books geared in this direction a try.  I remember when Steampunk was not accepted as its own and the beginning of the YA era:)  It's always exciting to discover a new type of read.  Before I dive into the book, I wanted to take a moment to Rack up this author...Let's see what he had to say:

Hey Irv! Welcome to our…cozy retreat.
It’s really dark in here.

Ozone-friendly lighting.
Oh…sure. What’s that?

What?
Sounds like, moaning cats.

That? Just our guests. The treatments get a tad intense.
What treatments?

Sit here, Irv.
What’s with all the rope?

Construction. Something to drink before we get started?
I don’t think so. But ear plugs would be nice.

In the bag…over there. Maybe one or two aren’t used.
Uhhh… Thanks.

Okay, let’s begin. For starters, I usually ask authors to tell us about their book. In your case it would be a series.
Yeah. A trilogy covering five years of Irving Podolsky’s twenty-something life, set in the seventies. Irv’s the hero who tells his story in the first person, which makes him the author of a fictitious memoir narrated by a fictitious young man.

But you’re Irving Podolsky.
I know. Confusing. Irv the character, Irv the author. But I loved that geeky name so much, it’s now my nom de plume for everything.

Okay, so I’ll call you Irv.
Exactly! That’s how Moby Dick starts! “Call me Ishmael.” I was gonna start book one that way, “Call me Irving,” but it didn’t have the same ring. So I changed it to, “My name is Irving Podolsky, and I don’t fit in. Anywhere.”

Still don’t.

Sorry. How did the idea for the books come to you?
In the shower. Warm water makes me think.

You into squirting?
What?

Never mind.

Which character, in your opinion, should everyone be in love with?
Well if it’s not Irv, that’s a serious problem, since the entire story is told from his point-of-view. But so far, the feedback and reviews tell me he’s comin’ through. Ya see, he doesn’t want to hurt anybody, or get hurt. And he wants to be loved and love others. And he wants to make a positive difference in the world. So I guess he’s a…Nice Jewish Boy...who ends up directing porn.

A “Nice Jewish Boy” in porn, how did you write that?
Why is everybody dressed in black around here? Somebody die?

Tell us about your writing challenges, Irv. The hardest scene to write.
The hardest scene to write? Humm…

I suppose that would be the part where Irv has a spiritual awakening. I rewrote that four or five times, hoping I’d get across the experience of someone exploding into an expanded awareness and a deep sense of knowing that, ummm… Everything Is, As It Should Be. I expected to carry all my readers into that zone if I built all the bridges leading up to it.

Did you?
Nope. Only a few readers got it. Writing about a “Revelation” was a revelation for me.

How so?
Well, during the polish phase, when I sent out the book for comments, I discovered that my words on the page were only catalysts. They coaxed a reader’s experience, but only as long at the reader believed the scene and added to it with his or her imagination.

Now I knew that, but I didn’t really understand the total process until I pushed the envelope.

Get this. What brings a scene and character to life, is the life of the reader. If an author can get readers inside his hero’s head and flesh out that personality in their own minds, the book’ll work. But the reader’s actually  connecting the dots. That’s the skill of writing lean; getting the reader inside your story to help you with it.

Still, there are some authored experiences that are too much of a leap to build with just words…or pictures…or anything other than what it is.

I found that the epiphany scene became a detached fantasy for those who didn’t have a similar perspective. My description was interesting but not enlightening. They couldn’t relate to the shift-of-consciousness.

But I suppose we can apply that principle to all fiction. The reader’s gotta have at least some personal experience to understand what’s going on. That experience can be emotional, not necessarily physical. Can we feel the rush of a plane crash on the page without having to actually fall from the sky? Of course. It’s the emotional truth we share, not necessarily the physical event.

Interesting. Did you heat up your sex scenes like that?
Irv’s sex scenes, and there are many, weren’t erotic or explicit. Irv wasn’t looking for fire and lust. He wanted personal connections and feelings of belonging. And he also felt morally obligated to share a sexual encounter rather than take it. There are a few scenes where Irv turns down fantastic potential lays because of his moral convictions. The sex scenes described attitudes, not just orgasms.

Are there any of these in your books?  (Hands Irv a box filled with vibrators, blindfolds, ball gags, handcuffs, clothes pins, lotions, rubber masks, etc.)

Oh boy! Party favors!

No Irv, they stay here. Did you write about any of these things?
That one looks familiar, the long plastic thingy with the knob on the end.

A dildo.
Yeah, that’s it. Irv’s first romp with a porn star had one of those in the scene. But it wouldn’t stop buzzing and Irv couldn’t understand why she wanted that and not him.

Maybe it had something to do with the size.
Huh?

YOU wrote these books?
Yeah, why?

Well you’re…  Forget it.

Will you be writing anymore stories for this series?
With Irv the character? No. The three books resolved his questions. But Irving Podolsky, as my pen name, he’ll be authoring more stories outside the common genres, as is Irv’s Odyssey.

Can you tell us what you’re working on?
You know, actually, I’ve been reluctant to continue my next idea because it’s so out there. I had problems getting people to read this series because it isn’t specifically about fantasy and paranormal, or romance, or Young Adult, or historical drama. And yet it’s all that.

But once people get into the books, they really like’em. It’s been tough though, getting attention for a coming-of-age story. They’re not popular now.

That must be frustrating.
Sure. But most writers starting out deal with rejections. I have no justification to complain about it. And I’m not. But I do have to consider marketing next time.

So will you tell us about the idea you’re reluctant to write?
Okay. It would be a comedy about the who we are on the inside, as opposed to our appearance or the way people want us to act. It would examine the hurdles transgender folk go through. And I don’t mean vampires.

Not exactly mainstream.
Nope. Here’s the concept.

The spirit of a younger Jewish dude is imprisoned in a college girl’s body, and he falls in love with a middle-aged shiksha trapped in a fifty year-old Rabbi.

Shiksa?
A non-Jewish female. An added complication.

Sounds like a fun read. Where can I find you for updates?
Well, there’s my blog, www.IrvingsJourney.com. If I get the nerve to write a wacky but deep transgender comedy, I’ll let everyone know.

Or…if some publisher reading this post says, “Yeah Irv, we’ll give you a shot at that,” I’ll be typing away. Maybe it’ill happen.

Anyway, super thanks for inviting me into your… What IS this place, anyway?

Irv, it’s been a pleasure interviewing you. I’ll walk you to the door.
 Why is that guy naked?

lol...Let me get Irv out of here before he becomes someone's lunch...or appetizer!!!  Let's take a look at the book:

Irving Podolsky is a nice Jewish boy looking for a nice Jewish girl and a job out of college which would, Irv hopes, make the world a better place. But when our hero's food supply dwindles down to a slab of Velveeta and a jar of pickles, our lad takes his only job offer: directing pornographic movies. This leads to a night shift gig in a mental hospital, only to have that be replaced by the lowest rung in food service, which drives Irv so bonkers his mind ejects out of his body to the Other Side. Irv's Odyssey is a humorous quest for love, truth and the meaning of life while lost in alternate life styles, a psychedelic drug culture and the free-love of the seventies. "Lost in a Looking Glass" starts the journey.Irving Podolsky resides in the mind of this writer and within the trilogy, "Irv's Odyssey." As your storyteller, I'd like to share the adventure with your younger YOU, that which seeks fun, romance and a wild ride into the Unknown.

"My plan was to take Lost in a Looking Glass with me so I could read it on our cruise. But I finished it before we even left. What a page turner "
Gregor Wossilus - film critic, content producer and story analyst for the Bavarian Broadcasting Network!!

More about the Author:

Who's Irving H. Podolsky? He’s a young man who hates his name, and he thinks his parents unfairly gave it to him. They didn’t. This author did. You see, outside the trilogy of Irv's Odyssey and also Irving’s blog, there is no Irving H. Podolsky. Irv doesn’t know that though, and it’s best for all that we keep the secret to ourselves.

If you searched this author’s true identity, you'd find him laced through 23 consecutive pages of Google. That’s because he has earned nineteen film nominations and awards, including two Emmys. He is also a member of the Executive Board within his category branch of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and he has worked on every studio lot in Los Angeles in television and feature films.

The author’s personal life? He resides in an old house in a quaint neighborhood in Southern California. He loves vintage drums and antiques. Consequently, he has many. His wife collects and sells them. (Not drums, furniture.) He also enjoys fast sports cars so he owns two. The second is on its way to becoming vintage, which you might apply to this writer. But like Peter Pan, this writer refuses to grow old, and accordingly, Irv won’t either. Irving is perpetually twenty-five. So when the lad needs advice, he asks his alter ego, the creator of his thoughts.

Other than birthing Irv’s soul, this author leaves his character pretty much alone. Irving now has his own friends and Google links. You can contact Irv at IrvsOdyssey.com. Or check out his blog: IrvsOdysseyBlog.com. He will be happy to hear from you and respond as best as he can.

This was a really different read for me.  I think this book shows a perfect transition of a college student going into school with a pocket full of dreams and then meeting the reality of the working world head on.  As a graduate film student, Irv wants to hit the world head on and hopes to make meaningful documentaries about world changing events.  But bills keep piling up and his list of prospects keeps shrinking.  He ends up taking a job directing pornography.  Not quite the job you call home and tell your mom or dad about.  I enjoyed the story.  This book follows Irv throughout a several shots as he is introduced to a completely new lifestyle where he still struggles to fit in.  That is one of Irv's biggest problems.  He feels like he doesn't belong anywhere and always feels out of place.  Throughout the places where his life takes him he always seems to have that theme.  I found the book quite interesting and entertaining, even towards the end.

The heartbreaking part was towards the end.  He gets the opportunity to make the film he was upon a time interested in.  But it comes with some major heartbreaks and glimpses into the lives of unwanted children.  I think this job teaches Irv loads about life, even though it seems to harden him up a bit.

Throughout this book I caught found some of myself.  I remember what it was like wanting to change the world, and then discovering how the world really works.  Irv is definitely a relateable and unusual character.  I enjoyed the plot and the premise, even if it left me feeling sad about the reality check it gives you at the end.  I would definitely read more from this author.  I look forward to more adventures in his world.

Review: In the Dark by Katie Salidas and Willsin Rowe

With finals completed Cory, Hana and Maddy plan to hit the clubs. But when a blackout kicks Cory’s achluophobia into overdrive, the girls decide to ease his fear...in any way they can.

WARNING

This title contains graphic language, sexual situations, multi-racial nookie, girl-on-girl lovin’ and frankly unsupportable fear treatment methods

BLURB:
Cory Matthews is a handsome undergrad...with an embarrassing phobia. One that gets his heart pounding every single night. Achluophobia. Fear of the dark.
With finals all done and dusted, Cory swings by to pick up his girlfriend Hana, and her sexy roommate Maddy, for a big night of hitting the clubs and blowing off steam.
But before their night of fun can get started a summer monsoon knocks out the power for a whole city block, plunging Hana’s house into pitch blackness...kicking Cory’s fear into overdrive.
Though Hana sometimes teases Cory about his phobia, she knows it’s no laughing matter. And she’ll use whatever comes to hand – including Maddy – to take his mind off his troubles.
Together, these temptresses will show him that sometimes darkness can be far more revealing than light.

EXCERPT:

Working only by feel, she had my rigid cock out in seconds, leaving it sitting there in the cool night air. She bit my bottom lip, something she’d never done before, and then disappeared. Her hand throttled my cock, every rough tug seeming to pull another deep breath into my lungs. A moment later, the air turned warm, and I felt her tongue curling up along the underside until she reached the fat tip of it.
“Dayum, girl.” If the power came back on now, Maddy would get a full view of us. And that turned me on like nothing ever had. The threat of being caught fucking. Especially after all that teasing, from both ladies.
Hana slipped her hot mouth down over me, pulling up my shirt and scratching my belly with her nails, adding some sharp spice to the amazing pleasure. Another little twist she’d never done before. I slipped my fingers into her hair again, brushing it back from her ear as she licked and sucked on me.
The rain sounded like it was easing up a little. It was still loud, but now at least it didn’t sound like someone was driving a steam train on the roof.
A moan escaped my throat as Hana cupped my heavy balls. I hadn’t meant to make any noise, especially now there was more chance of Maddy hearing us. But what my girl was doing just felt so damn good. I pulled lightly on her hair and traced her cute little ear with my fingers. Her heavy pendant earring brushed against my wrist and I jumped.
’Cause I suddenly had a thought.
What if this wasn’t Hana? What if it was Maddy?

Luther has a solid career as a lawyer and is married to a famous lingerie model. His life has grown comfortable, and he can’t remember how it felt to truly want something…anything.

So if anyone has been there during exam time, you completely understand where all the freakiness comes from:)  Your so stressed out most of the time that sex is an amazing release...just like in this little hot number from this yummy writing dynamic duo.  Cory is hot and bothered and totally in love with his girlfriend...but he was unaware at just exactly HOW close his girlfriend's best friend REALLY was.  But that all changes when these three get together for what seemed to be an innocent night on the town.  Not with these two naughty girls!!  I was fascinated and moved by the hesitancy Hana showed during the actual get it on scene.  It added a lot of depth to her character, and to the story in general.  It wasn't just your usually college hook up. It was an entertaining short and I have enjoyed the devilish delights of these two yummy making authors before!!  Great short!

Romance Madness Hop!!

Hello and Welcome to this stop on the romance reviews blog hop!!  I love romance of all kinds, especially if has a little naughtiness to it.  Stephanie Draven sure knows how to make her romances a little bit naughty!!  Let's take a look:
The Twenties roared with hot jazz, free-flowing back-room liquor, and wild sexual abandon, freeing even society girls like Nora Richardson to explore every fantasy, every desire, and every vibrating impulse...
The moment I met Jonathan, a mad, instant lust took hold of me. Outside the speakeasy, in the buggy seat of my father's car, he ripped the front of my dress, catching the pearls around my neck, snapping the string, sending beads spilling everywhere.
Occasionally I still find one of those pearls in my pocketbook or in the driveway in front of our manor house, and it makes me wilt with the scorching heat of the memory. You see, I loved him that night. I loved all the filthy things he said to me. I loved all the ungentlemanly things he did to me. I loved the way it felt to have him inside me, not even knowing his name. Not knowing that he would be the kind of man to return with flowers and a marriage proposal...
Now, a year later, he's a scorned husband who wants to punish me.
And I realize how very much I want to let him...
Want more to excite your imagination? Then grab hold of Stephanie Draven's jazz-hot collection "It Stings So Sweet," and meet a silent screen star as open to scandal as she is to sex with two men in the back row of a darkened theater. You'll also meet an ambitious shopgirl with a secret sex diary, and her dashing blackmailer.
In an age when anything goes, three women discover that anything is possible...
"It Stings So Sweet" from Berkley Sensation. Don't miss it!!
So what do I think about this book?  It was pretty awesome!!   You have two people from different sides of the tracks, that essentially want the same things in life and in bed.  Nora fell in love with Jonathan the minute she caught sight of him and was unbearably happy when he was forced to marry her.  But due to some misunderstandings, a bitter father-in-law, and some major issues during the marriage, Jonathan and Nora grew apart.  The sad thing was it took her confessing a small mishap to send her society-perfect husband over the edge, exactly where she wanted him!!  She fell in love with the wild and untamed man he was before she married him, not what society has pushed him to become a year later.  But all the cards come off the table when his control snaps and gives Nora EXACTLY what she needs.  She just hopes its enough to save their marriage.
This little short was walk into some consensual naughtiness in the 20s and it definitely was a unique read!  I would definitely read something else by this author and recommend this book to those who like a little spanking in their life!!!

SNEAK PEEK
A cold shiver raked Viktor's spine as he gaped into his abductor's pale fluorite irises. There was nowhere where he could hide from their inquisitive glint. They saw into the deepest depths of his soul. They measured, they evaluated and nothing could be concealed from them. Nothing. For this was Hell. This was where the card game with life ended. It only surprised him that he was actually... still alive. Mortified to the core by the lack of self-control he had just exhibited... but alive.

The creature's full lips curled in a smile worth dying for and the most seductive, husky tones of his voice drowned out all disconcerting, rasping moans coming from the yard. “There is no reason why you shouldn't be alive, Viktor. Void can be a very lively place and some of its attractions are better consumed when you still have your body.” Dear Lord, the sensual melody of the demon's speech was dripping with lust, need and pleasure. It whispered and screamed of delighted moans and anguished delectation. All desire of the world was in its harmonious euphony. It felt as if an ancient, beautiful deity spoke to a puny mortal, making him long to hear every word again and again and again. But he couldn't yield to the spell, though it partly soothed his fear. No. His hand might be empty at the moment but... there still there were cards to play with life. Back in the mortal realm. As long as he was alive he could still hope that one day, just perhaps, he would be able to speak to his Amédée again and win him back.

Strangely enough, this close encounter with danger swept all self-pity thoughts away and Viktor's mind regained its ability to actually think and bounce back from the latest setback. One lost round didn't prefigure that everything was lost forever. But if he wanted to see his bunny again, he had to make it out of here alive. And it meant two things. Not to anger the alluring child of darkness in front of him and not to listen to his bewitching lullabies.

Bracing himself for the hardest game of his life, against a player countless times more experienced than he was, Viktor licked his lips and answered: “Your Lordship, with all the due respect to your hospitality, I would prefer to consume the attractions of the mortal realm while I still have my body.” But the demon only shook his head in amusement before he spoke again. “You're being cheeky, pet. Cheeky but still respectful. It saves you from punishment for now but the mortal realm is beyond your reach and it will stay so.”

No, Viktor had not expected another answer for the start. The demon hadn't kidnapped him for nothing. And from the way he kept addressing him, Viktor could easily deduce his prospective role here. It wasn't to his liking. Not even for a god like creature. But still he couldn't really wrench his sight off the pale irises that had imprisoned him in their smoldering look. Gazing into them, he gave a cracked: “Isn't there a way to earn a privilege to... visit it... again, my lord?”

The demon arched his brow at his boldness and reiterated: “No, darling pet. It's just in fairy tales for children that a daring prince gets a bargain from a devil. You are no longer a little boy to believe such stories, are you?”

Fairy tales. He had believed in one. And it had ended all too quickly. He had ended it all too quickly. “No, I don't believe in fairy tales, my lord. But I have an unfinished business there. Couldn't I be allowed to tend to it before...”

“An unfinished business you say. Amédée?” So, the demon really knew everything. And the tone of his voice revealed how entertaining he found Viktor's struggle to be together with his bunny. But there was nothing amusing in his plight. It burned in his mind and in his heart like the flames of inferno. But his abductor wouldn't understand. Nobody would. Biting his upper lip, he nodded and finally managed to avert his sight. Just a little. Just not to let the demon see the glint of unspilled tears.

“Oh, I think that is a closed chapter. He told you he wouldn't leave with you. Don't you remember?” It sounded as if the voice wanted to pull all his anguish to the light and make him admit a defeat. But he wouldn't. Only his throat tightened involuntarily still before he replied: “Words can be spoken in a rush. It doesn't make them the truest of truth.”

“No, it doesn't. I'll grant you that. After all, who should know it better than a charming impostor like you are.” Touché. A painful one. So, the demon really knew everything, and Viktor didn't manage more than an uneasy croak: “Is that why I'm here?” and a quick glance back into the demon's eyes. If he was actually mistaken about his role here, Void might be a hotter place than the pillory in Cibinium. And Maker knew what the demon actually meant by the attractions of Void and what the ways to consume them were. A cold fist of fear punched his stomach and forced all air out of his lungs. It didn't seem likely that he would be able to pull an inhale in any time soon. Lowering his sight, he awaited the verdict and felt cold sweat of fright forming between his shoulder blades once again.

“Partly. But mainly because you roused my interest, Viktor. You'll be allowed a choice later tonight whether you want to be here as my pet or as a trickster. Let's get you ready for your decision.” Maker, it wasn't exactly a reassuring statement. Especially given the fact that while casting his eyes down, he hadn't been able to avoid catching a glimpse of the demon's naked magnificence. Of his almost alabaster white, unblemished complexion, his sculpted body, and... his... package. While everything about this creature was breathtakingly beautiful, Viktor just knew he couldn't possibly take the demon's shaft into his body and so the prospect of getting ready for a decision didn't fill him with an excited anticipation. His executor chuckled above him and the sound forced Viktor to tilt his head back again and seek the demon's look, despite the protests of his neck muscles. Why did the creature have to be by two heads taller than him and why did he have to be so well endowed? The former was a pain for his neck, the latter...

“Your thought processes amuse me. I'll have to disappoint you though. Your preparations don't entail what you think they do.” Oh, Viktor was in fact as far from a disappointment as Blodwyn from Rhyda. A vast sea of relief lay between him and that emotion. But only until the demon added: “My pets will help you to get ready. You are to obey their every command, Viktor. And if you are as clever as I think you to be, you will do exactly what they'll say.” The nonchalant words jabbed at Viktor's pride so hard that he swayed. He... he had had a master but never, never had he been a pet of somebody's pets. A protest was rising to his lips but he managed to swallow it. Together with his momentarily unhelpful pride. Not to anger the demon. That was the key to his freedom. If there was a key in the first place.

The wide smirk on the demon's full pouts revealed that he shamelessly enjoyed reading every single thought in his mind. It wasn't fair. But the gamble with life rarely was. And so it came as no surprise when his kidnapper advised him of his view. “Freedom is a severely overestimated concept.” Without giving him a chance to react in any verbal way, the devil snapped his fingers and called his pets: “Argyros, Donn!”

Before the proud something in Viktor cringed in expectation of the unspeakable humiliation of submission to playthings, the first of the demon's minions appeared out of the nowhere and his beauty left him with his mouth agape. Thunderstruck with loveliness of darkness, he could barely breathe and almost overheard his captor's entertained words: “Servitude, my dear, is but a small price to pay for closeness with perfection.” He couldn't shake his head to disagree. Not when whole his attention was on the silvery apparition approaching him so slowly. So painfully slowly. Everything about the demon boy seemed to be made of the purest, shiniest silver. More alluring than moonlight could ever be. His complexion, his lips, his hair. Everything. Everything but for a pair of wings in the most delicate pigeon blue and rose colors. Viktor could almost hear their silent swoosh through the air when the youth half unfurled them in apparent excitement from seeing his master. And the demon lord responded with the same gesture. His pale green membranous wings greeted the young one with a light flutter and Viktor immediately understood it was an unspoken way of the same reaffirmations he so much longed to hear from Amédée's lips. Yours I am and You're mine were exchanged in front of his eyes without a single word. And left him aching for such intimacy.

Ciaran was a completely new author to me and I wasn't sure what to expect in his writing.  I was completely blown away by the amazing descriptive scenes that were portrayed throughout this novel.  I am big on detail and this is one author that gives it his all!  It is so easy to picture everything that was so vividly portrayed.  I walked into this book without having read book 1 and had no problem following along.  I have a deep love of demons and two in this book had no problem worming their way into my heart ..even when they were being completely naughty.  This book does contain elements of BDSM, but I found the scenes quite interesting and erotically displayed. It is an extremely HOT book if you like M/M..which I certainly do!! I really enjoyed this book!  My only regret was that I did not have a chance to read book 1, but with the quality writing I have just enjoyed, I have no problem going back to take a dive into this world again!  Great Read!
About the Author:

Bio:  Ciaran Dwynvil, the bard of gay erotic fantasy, writes for... the characters. “I'm their happy scribe and their personal bard. When they come to me, their story is already there and they just need an author willing to listen in silent midnight hours, paint their life with words and then sing about it on pages of the books. That's what I do and what fills my days with joy.” This approach to writing resonates best with thoughtful readers for whom character emotions and plots are just as important, (if not more) as the erotic aspect of the stories. The lines in Ciaran's novels flow like verses in a minstrel's tales from the time long passed. Like stitches on a tapestry they create intricate images for those who dare to join the characters in the moments of bliss and in the moments of their darkest hours. Readers will get pulled in a complex fantasy world and will live through stories of faith, life, love and lust that will leave them aching for more. The narratives never use solely one character's point of view. Just like a tapestry doesn't rely just on one color, Ciaran's novels aren't told in one voice only. All heroes and villains speak on the pages and thus allow a reader to experience their story from multiple perspectives until a rich, complete vision fully emerges.
